Coryn F. Thalmann

Coryn Thalmann, CIC, CIW


Coryn is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer of Jimcor Agencies.

Coryn is a graduate of American University where she majored in Business Management. She currently holds her Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Insurance Wholesaler designations. Over the years, Coryn has been active in various associations. She was the President of the Young Insurance Professionals and was a board member for the Professional Insurance Agents. Currently, she is the Senior Vice President of the Under Forty Organization which is affiliated with the American Association of Managing General Agents.

During her years in the business, Coryn has spent time overseas working with the Lloyds and Munich marketplace. She was recognized by her peers when she won the Young Insurance Professional of the Year in 2002 and the Tri-State Alliance Award in 2007.

Coryn lives in Bergen County, NJ with her family and enjoys golfing, reading and spending time with her husband and children.

James Mastowski

James Mastowski

President/Chief Information Officer

Jim has been in the Surplus Lines business for over fourteen years. He is currently the President and Chief Information Officer with Jimcor Agencies. He has been responsible for the automation advances for the multi-branch operations of the agency along with building several programs for both domestic and foreign Insurance Companies.

Jim is a graduate of Pace University where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Computer Science. He has served on committee for the AAMGA and actively participated in the AAMGA and other Associations.

Jim lives in Bergen County, NJ and is married with three children. He is active in his community coaching youth sports.

David Laquidara

David J. Laquidara, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

David J. Laquidara, Chief Financial Officer since 2002, is responsible for the financial operations of the company. Prior to Jimcor, Dave worked at KPMG, where he specialized in auditing clients in the manufacturing, retail and distribution industries. He subsequently served as controller for Turnberry Capital, LP, a hedge fund in Greenwich, CT. He also served as Vice President, Corporate Development of 24/7 Real Media, Inc., assisting that company through major acquisitions and restructuring efforts.

Dave is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Boston College.

John J. George

John J. George

Sr. Vice President, NY & MA Regional Manager

John is currently the Sr. Vice President of Jimcor Agencies. He has been in the Insurance Industry for 37 years of which 33 have been in Surplus Lines. John is responsible for the underwriting and operations for three locations of Jimcor as the Regional Manager of New York and New England.

As a graduate of Bernard Baruch College in New York City, John majored in English with a minor in Insurance. He is active with several organizations in New York and is Past President of the Professional Insurance Wholesalers of New York serving from 1999-2001.

John is married to his wife Phyllis for over 30 years. When not working, John enjoys anything to do with information on the Titanic and black & white photography as well as hosting family get-togethers, especially those involving his daughter and son-in-law. John also loves to travel.

Donna McCole-Rodriguez

Donna McCole-Rodriguez, PHR

Vice President, Human Resources

Donna is Vice President of Human Resources at Jimcor Agencies. She has been in the human resources field for over 15 years.

Donna earned her Masters degree in Human Resources from the New School University in New York City and Bachelors degree in Marketing from Bernard M. Baruch College in New York City. She currently also holds her Professional of Human Resources (PHR) certification and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Donna and husband Edwin have two children. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family, especially cheering for the NY Yankees.

Kristen Skender

Kristen Skender

Director of Corporate Development

Kristen has over 12 years of E&S industry experience, most recently as Corporate Vice President of a national insurance wholesale brokerage and MGA. She is based in Pittsburgh, PA and reports into our Montvale, NJ corporate office. She is responsible for strategic growth opportunities, operational best practices, brokerage division expansion, and innovation working closely with our regional leaders and the corporate management team.

Kristen is an alumnus of West Virginia University with a Master’s of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications and completed her undergraduate work at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration; specialization in Marketing & Journalism. She served as 2017 Chairperson of Pittsburgh I-Day, inaugural President of NAPSLO’s Next Generation and is an active member of the WSIA education, and Pittsburgh I-Day committees.
